Some news for you:

• PLEASE PRAY for OUR CLIENTS. We have started receiving clients at the Pregnancy Help Center in Jefferson City. We will never disclose any of their personal details of course. But just know that we are currently working with three different clients, all of whom need your prayers. Please also spare a prayer for us here at the Center as we reach out to help these clients, thank you.
  
  
• Our pregnancy test facility is now enabled. Clients may self-administer a pregnancy test at our facility. We provide the test kit free of charge.
  
  
• Professional counseling services are available. In our line of work there are two levels of counseling: lay, and professional. Every staff member and intern at PHC is required to pass the Heartbeat International "Love Approach" course for lay counselors. But now, we can also offer the services of a professional counselor free of charge to our clients. Now that's a good deal.
  
  
• Beautiful quilts: The Department of Restorative Justice at JCCC has provided us with a stack of beautiful, colorful, hand-crafted quilts for keeping tiny babies warm and cozy. They also gave us some impressive artwork in the form of sets of hand-drawn alphabet letters for the nursery or classroom. Thanks so much Pam and the craftsmen at JCCC! Your contributions are helping to stock our Baby Boutique.
  
  
• We need interns for several categories of work here at PHC. Watch for ads in your church bulletin soon. These positions are "pro bono" - that means the interns offer their time and talents for the opportunity to sharpen their skills, while supporting a great cause. For instance, we need a WEBSITE DESIGNER right now. Interested? Call 573-644-6635.
  
  
• The Vitae Foundation's 20th Anniversary banquet was held at the Capitol Plaza hotel in March. Linda and I attended, and we were impressed. The Foundation is certainly a powerful voice for the Pro-Life cause, and we wish it even greater success in the next 20 years. Abby Johnson's keynote speech was astonishing, and certainly a wake-up call for people who support the cause.  
  
  
• The children at Immaculate Conception elementary school in Loose Creek, Missouri donated a generous check to the PHC in March. I was privileged to visit their school to accept it. Thanks kids, you did a great job. Your questions about our facility really kept me on my toes! And thanks also to the staff of I.C. for inviting me out there.
